We offer the very best in modern dementia, Alzheimer’s, and memory impairment care. Our beautiful – and new – memory care and assisted living community (Allen) has been specifically designed to address the unique needs of individuals with memory loss. This is very different from an assisted living facility which has a more institutional feel. In our community, every member of our Allen memory care team cares with enthusiasm while enhancing the well-being of our memory care residents in Allen.
Our Grand Brook community (Allen) staff is trained in many areas of memory care, Alzheimer’s & dementia. The entire Allen care team acts with compassion and will always treat residents with kindness, encouragement, and understanding. It’s our overall goal to be the best memory care community in Allen. To achieve this goal we’ve made it a core tenant to treat everyone who comes through our doors not just as a resident, but as a human being, too. No matter the illness or difficulty, we understand love and respect is the core way we relate to everyone at the community.
Grand Brook Memory Care has designed our new Allen assisted living community to exceed the needs of those residents living with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. Our caring philosophy combined with each individualized care plan ensures each resident gets one-on-one attention. This helps our team to properly care for each resident and create a sense of warmth and independence – unlike what your loved one may experience in a typical assisted living facility. In our community, we engage residents in many activities with open participation for everyone.
We want every resident to feel happy and safe with their new surroundings. We also aim for everyone to be an active part of their new community, if possible. We offer a range of life-enhancing activities like social clubs, dances, and live entertainment. Our full-time Life Engagement Manager organizes bingo, exercise classes, crafting classes, and outings in Allen. Every activity is published in a monthly calendar.
Our culinary teams carefully plan meals to ensure residents enjoy a nutritiously balanced and delicious menu every day for long-term health. Whether your loved one enjoys a meal in the dining room or in-room tray service, all dining experiences at Grand Brook are a major priority – one of the hallmarks of our commitment to excellence in providing the best possible memory care Allen residents have ever seen.
This care philosophy makes us the premier Allen memory care community. It is our desire to make Grand Brook a true home for residents and family members. We know that providing respectful and loving care goes a long way in giving each resident and family member a feeling of security and peace of mind. We believe to be the best memory care assisted living community Allen has to offer, we must provide the best home for our residents.
Your family will have peace of mind knowing our compassionate, caring staff surrounds your loved one with kindness, encouragement and understanding at Grand Brook of Allen.
