According to the Genworth 2020 Cost of Care Survey, assisted living costs in Georgia are the same as Homestead. Alabama costs are $350 less and Mississippi facilities are $213 more.
At $3,500, Homestead’s assisted living costs are lower than the state average. Panama City has one of the highest at $5,161, while Jacksonville, Palm Bay and Cape Coral all cost above the state average at $4,150, $4,100 and $4,500, respectively. In the northwest in Pensacola, assisted living is $105 more than the state average. In Tampa, costs are $275 less than in Homestead.
