According to the Genworth 2020 Cost of Care Survey, the monthly cost of assisted living in Fort Pierce is slightly more than most surrounding regions. At $4,399, assisted living in Fort Pierce is more than the state cost of $3,700 and $99 more than the national cost. Costs are less in Georgia at $3,500, in Alabama at $3,150 and in Mississippi at $3,713.
Costs of assisted living will vary in different regions throughout any state. Some of the lower-cost regions include Miami at $3,500, Tampa at $3,225 and Orlando at $3,700. Cape Coral and Jacksonville have monthly assisted living costs of $4,500 and $4,150, respectively, while Tallahassee is one of the more expensive cities at $5,506.
