Boulder Assisted Living Financial Assistance

Colorado Medicaid, known as Health First Colorado, offers many different waiver programs, although not all apply to assisted living fees. Residents who meet the qualifications for the Elderly, Blind or Disabled waiver (EBD) may receive assistance to pay for care. Medicaid waivers can only be used at assisted living facilities that accept Medicaid, also known as Alternative Care Facilities. Medicaid-sponsored residents may have to provide proof of income and demonstrated need for a higher level of care.
