The gold and green interior color scheme is illuminated by plentiful natural light. The lobby is comfortably furnished with sofas and chairs, beckoning residents to relax in front of the stone fireplace.

Residents’ rooms are moderately sized with large windows. Residents decorate and furnish to suit their tastes. The dining room is a lovely setting of whitewashed wood tables and chairs upholstered in floral fabrics. The soft lighting in this room gives it a cozy feel. Staff encourages the residents to dine together. The kitchen staff prepares favorites such as meatloaf with mixed vegetables. We observed one delighted resident in the middle of her apple pie. Residents gather in the living room and enjoy the warmth of a second fireplace. The secured outdoor patio is furnished. The stone planter is the garden centerpiece among young trees, walkways and freshly cut grass. The interior is brightened by an abundance of windows and recessed lighting. Elegant glass and brass sconces add a decorative touch. The hallways are spacious and features handrails; rest areas are furnished intermittently.

The staff facilitates an active community. Residents enjoy an array of activities, including arts and crafts, sing-alongs, morning exercise and movie nights. The environment is a positive one. It was plain to see the mutual respect between residents and caregivers.
