Presentation is located in a beautiful, six-year-old building with shiny, reddish granite and light green windows and accents. The building won a design award from Builder’s Magazine in 2002. The interior is also striking, with wood walls and counters in the reception area painted in pale oranges and pinks. An outdoor architectural garden with good sun exposure is adjacent to a city park, which clients also use periodically. The program caters to Cantonese-speaking participants, but some Koreans also participate. Individuals eighteen and older are accepted at the facility. The environment is bustling and social. Groups of people often gather to play mah-jongg or card games, or simply to socialize. The physical therapy room was packed with people on our visit, and several individuals were exercising on their own. Exercising is one of the most popular activities—tai chi, in particular. The staff is exceptionally warm, which just adds to the delightful environment. The program director is well regarded by both staff and participants.
