Ohio’s Medicaid program offers the Assisted Living Waiver program to help eligible seniors with their assisted living costs. Although this waiver does not cover the cost of room and board in an assisted living facility, it does cover the cost of care. Seniors must be Medicaid-eligible to qualify for this program.
