Seniors aged 60 and older receive screening for services and assistance accessing those services. In addition to counseling and education, the County Office on Aging connects seniors with the various community-based programs.  
Mercer County Veteran Services(609) 989-6120Free information, advocacy and support are available to veterans, their dependents and survivors in the Princeton area through Mercer County Veteran Services. The benefit claims clinics provide education and assistance in determining eligibility. Veterans also have access to the Mercer County VA Outpatient Clinic, which offers primary care and outpatient behavioral health services for Princeton’s senior veterans.
Princeton Senior Resource Center(609) 751-9699The Princeton Senior Resource Center is a nonprofit organization committed to providing advocacy, information and support to the area’s seniors. Programs include volunteer opportunities, social and recreational activities, health and fitness classes and technology assistance. Volunteers offer consultations, advocacy and care planning assistance.

Mercer County Nutrition Program for the Elderly(609) 989-6661This federally funded program offers hot, nutritious meals for seniors aged 60 and older in the Princeton area. For a nominal fee, participants receive a full meal that includes an appetizer, entree, drink and dessert. Meals are created by a local caterer and overseen by a qualified nutritionist with an older person’s nutritional needs in mind. Educational counseling and courses regarding nutrition can also be arranged through the Nutrition Project.
