Average rates are similar in Tennessee where seniors spend $4,039 a month on assisted living, and South Carolina seniors spend just $12 less at $3,988. Florida’s assisted living rates beat the local average by $300 and assisted living residents in Alabama save $850 per month based on median rates of $3,150.
Assisted living in Peachtree City is more expensive than most communities statewide. Seniors in Gainesville pay $263 more per month, and rates are even with the state median in Savannah. Areas with more affordable prices include Athens at $3,366 and Augusta at $3,090. Assisted living in Macon costs $2,730 per month, about $1,270 less than Peachtree City, and Warner Robins offers budget-friendly average rates of $2,300, a savings of $1,700.

Today, its team of 75 staff attorneys and 1,200 volunteers works on more than 20,000 cases annually.
