Assisted living prices in Delaware are substantially lower than the corresponding state and national medians of $4,635 and $4,500.
Except for Springfield ($3,660), Delaware has the most affordable rates in the state for assisted living. The highest costs in the state can be found in northeastern areas such as Cleveland ($4,940) and Akron ($4,993). On the state line with Kentucky, in Cincinnati, assisted living costs $581 more than in Delaware. Seniors in Lima ($4,603) and Mansfield ($4,798), also pay a lot more for their residential care. Rates in Toledo ($4,219) are in a similar price range to Delaware, but the latter is still the more cost-effective option.
