Willing Helpers’ Home wants the ladies to know that they will be going straight from their home into another very homey atmosphere. “This is not a nursing home,” emphasizes Director Tammy Kruger. “We are an adult home.” The living center at 226 W. The staff at Willing Helpers’ Home has made it their commitment to present a compassionate and cordial environment that advocates security, independence, and comfort. Together, the quality of life and services make the home a distinquished facility for first-class living. The Home, for women aged 60 and older, offers an array of engaging and enjoyable activities for all. “Everybody has her own private room,” Kruger said. The Home, a not-for-profit organization, is run by a Board of Managers, with a staff of 18, supplying 24-hour supervision. A licensed physician visits the home every Tuesday to manage the resident’s medical needs. Additional services include a beauty salon, private phone and cable, housekeeping and personal laundry.
