At The Haven in the Texas Hill Country, we offer first-class services for both assisted living and for those at different stages of memory loss. Within our community, we provide both an on-site nursing staff and caregivers specially trained to work with those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The Haven in the Texas Hill Country is managed by Five Star Senior Living. Five Star is a healthcare and senior living services provider that operates independent and assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, institutional pharmacies and outpatient health rehabilitation clinics throughout 30 states.
Our beautiful community in Kerrville offers 36 apartments, each situated around an interior courtyard with raised planting beds for gardening. We also offer a wide range of planned activities for residents including religious services, guest lectures and healthcare discussions. At The Haven in the Texas Hill Country, we provide a healthy meal plan with three meals served per day and are able to accommodate special dietary restrictions. Our community offers many services, including housekeeping, an on-site beauty parlor, transportation, laundry and medication management. Professional staff are available around the clock to assist residents with life’s daily activities such as bathing, grooming and eating. The staff at the Haven is specially trained to work with those with memory impairment. Each staff member undergoes a specialized training program in order to accurately address all of our residents’ needs.
