Welcome to The Wesley Community! The Wesley Community has provided services and programs with a commitment to compassion, caring and excellence for nearly 45 years. We began as an innovative combination of independent housing for older adults and skilled nursing care on a single site, and have grown to today’s multiplex of services that enhance hundreds of lives daily.
United Methodist Health and Housing sponsors our mission-guided, not-for-profit organizations, which include Wesley Health Care Center, Woodlawn Commons and Embury Apartments. Offering a unique blend of quality community living and care-giving, The Wesley Community's distinctive campus setting provides many levels of care for the aging resident and others. Our senior apartments are a wonderful place for older adults to enjoy life and thrive. Our Enriched Living program combines independence with support. Persons whose needs have advanced find comfort and safety in our long-term care residences. We also offer short-term rehabilitation for people who need to regain their independence after acute or prolonged medical issues and out-patient physical, occupational and speech therapies for all persons of all ages. Within our community residents and clients have access to a wide variety of conveniences including hair salons, shops, a restaurant and a café. Pet therapy, our intergenerational nursery school program and activities to meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of residents are just a few of the things we provide that can make life more fulfilling for those we serve.
