Stonebriar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Located directly in the heart of Austin off South Congress Avenue is Stonebriar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. After undergoing a massive renovation that was completed at the end of 2012 Stonebriar is quickly becoming the premier post-acute facility in the Austin area.
We are a skilled nursing facility that specializes in short term rehabilitation from a wide variety of medical conditions with an emphasis on cardiac conditions. The first level of the building is dedicated for short term rehab, with 28 full private rooms, a dining room and a cardiac rehab gym. The second floor of Stonebriar is dedicated to a 74 bed long term care unit where residents receive 24 hour nursing care. Another part of what makes Stonebriar so unique is the use of the AccuNurse system. AccuNurse is a voice activated headset system that gives our staff access to information needed to care for the residents staying at Stonebriar.It allows our nursing staff to have more hands on time with each resident verses time lost charting.
