Welcome to Ponderosa Assisted Living Community! We are so glad to have you here. Built in 1976, the Ponderosa is one of the most established assisted living and retirement center in Yakima, Washington. As such, we feel that we have much to offer you!
Our community is situation in a very quiet neighborhood setting yet is close to shopping, parks and restaurants. We have lovely grounds on which to stroll, sit and visit with a friend on our patio next to a relaxing water feature. Our apartments are spacious with walk in closets and all have a lovely deck or patio.
Ponderosa Assisted Living’s care program is specifically tailored to your particular needs: you are assured the care you receive is of the highest quality. A licensed nurse is onsite 7 days a week with an on call nurse 24-hour day. Ponderosa provides emergency pull cords in every apartment along with a 24 hour around the clock licensed care staff to respond. For those residents finding it difficult to travel out to doctor’s appointments, we offer an in house primary care option.
