Park Place Senior Living features a comfortable setting for seniors who may need assistance with personal care and daily living activities. Seniors and their families use the “Select Your Care” program to create a personal service plan. This may include assistance with daily activities, medication management, bathing and/or dressing by our 24-hour licensed nursing staff. For added peace of mind, an emergency response system is provided. Individuals are assessed to identify their cognitive and physical abilities. Our experienced staff takes this a step further. Orchard House serves seniors with various forms of memory loss. A state-of-the-art security system is provided, which allows residents to live independently, while remaining within the comfort of a secured environment. An enclosed courtyard offers residents an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors on their own. Our activity director and care staff offer structured activities throughout the day. Consistent staffing patterns allows our staff to get to know each resident’s likes and dislikes, providing harmony between staff and residents.

Our sensory profile, focusing on sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell, helps us to get to know your loved one better and to identify those things which may offer residents relaxation and to evoke pleasant memories. We use this information to engage residents in therapeutic activities that are designed to be enjoyable, and to stimulate their senses and help to connect our residents’ environment and their caregivers.

Our apartments allow ample living space, and our rates include housekeeping, laundry, nursing services, meals and activities. Our activity director creates a monthly calendar of activities designed to encourage the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of each resident. Some of the activities include daily exercise class, walking group, brainteasers, puzzles, holiday parties, ice cream socials, musical entertainment, cooking, arts and crafts and outings outside the community.
