Welcome to United Living Community! United Living Community stands on a foundation of quality care and service. It is our daily commitment to develop, provide and maintain a higher level of service in order to meet the needs and desires of our clients. We provide a continuum of care with six different levels of care all located on our ULC campus, which means our seniors can be a part of United Living Community throughout every stage of their retirement. Our continuum of care allows our residents to live in the most independent environment their physical and psychosocial health will allow.
Our independent living offers individual, separate apartments to seniors in our Park Place Apartments. Residents can have a rental unit, and they can enjoy a carefree lifestyle with security and no burdens of house or yard maintenance. Our independent living apartments differ from typical senior apartments as they provide a congregate living environment. This means that Independent living residents have the opportunity to attend programs in the Park Place Apartments, and they also have full access to join the other ULC residents in social functions, cultural activities and religious services.
Park Place residents can take advantage of our 24-hour emergency call light system, social activities and wellness program. There are also several contracted services that residents have readily available if they ever need them.
What really sets our independent living environment apart from other senior living arrangements is the ability to age in place. Our independent living seniors have priority admission into ULC's other service residencies, if they qualify. This means they can transition into assisted living while staying in the same facility. Our independent living senior apartments offer residents the autonomy they desire, while providing an active social environment and health services available in the same facility.
Our Assisted Living environment in our Park Place Assisted Living facility provides the best of both worlds for seniors who are ready to transition out of their own home. Residents have as much independence as they desire, while they, and their family, can take comfort in knowing that personal care and support services are readily available if they need them.
We have 28 private suites in four different sizes that are available for residents to furnish with their personal belongings from home to truly make it their own. Since security is a first priority, a 24-hour call system is provided in each suite. Staff is on site 24 hours per day to answer the emergency call system, as well as to attend to personal and medical needs.
In addition to providing three nutritious meals every day, our assisted living facility is designed to help residents with basic activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing and more.
There are several common areas designated for socializing and gathering with other residents or friends and family that come to visit. We have a beautifully decorated lobby, a main dining room, a private dining room, a library, a community room and an activity room that are all available for gathering with visitors or fellow residents.
Residents have the freedom to come and go as they please, knowing that their home will be monitored for them while they are away. The goal of Park Place Assisted Living is match residents' needs with the programs and assistance we provide. Our residents can enjoy their privacy and independence, while knowing that help is available, as they need it.
Park Place Assisted Living is under the United Living Community umbrella. Park Place Assisted Living residents have priority admission into ULC's other service residencies, if they qualify. This allows residents to enjoy retirement and age in place.
