Welcome to Metropolitan Jewish Health System! We have been providing care for members of the community across Greater New York for over 110 years. It started in 1907 with Four Brooklyn Ladies, a labor of love and three very important core values: compassion, dignity and respect.
With the help of charitable support, we have become one of the most innovative health systems in the region, providing care whenever and wherever it’s needed. This includes nursing care at home, rehab after surgery or illness, long-term care, support for a life limiting illness and health plans. With an eye towards the future, we are also leading the way in research, innovation and quality through the work of our Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care.
As a not-for-profit organization these extraordinary health care efforts are possible because of continued support from our foundation, which relies on generous donors, partners and employees.
We invite you to learn more about our history of caring and the difference we have made in the lives of our patients throughout the years.
