Once again, we, at Life in the Country, are bringing that personal dedication to our elders in our new home, located in the cozy town of Brunswick, Maryland.
Life in the Country provides a peaceful joy, a place in the country with a structured environment where our seniors can have all their needs met and feel at home. With continuous hands on attention, this has made our goals easy to achieve.
We believe in nurturing everyone who enters our home. Our staff provides high quality care with the love and emotional support our seniors and their families deserve. They are in the stage of their lives when they are facing many challenges and losses and need a great deal of attention, support, and affection.
Our Mission is the commitment we have to our residents and their families to provide a dignified, loving home environment that respects each individual and their needs.
The home setting surrounded by the beautiful Catoctin mountains with breath-taking views of the seasonal changes, lush manicured lawns and garden areas in a safe developed community allows for nature walks and daily recreational activities.
We are a 24/7 care home and are fully licensed by the State of Maryland.
We offer three nutritious home cooked meals daily developed by a registered dietitian, along with snacks throughout the day plus special diets if needed (Diabetes, etc.)
Life In The Country has a Library, TV and Game Room, as well as a brightly lit Morning Room, Living Room, and Formal Dining Room for special occasions. (Birthdays, Holidays, etc.)
Daily Activities include exercising and monthly outings, that are enjoyed by each resident according to their individual needs.
Both private and semi-private rooms are available with chair-lift and wheelchair access throughout the home. We are equipped with monitored smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, plus a state-of-the-art home security system. Residents are free to use the furniture provided or bring their own. All bedrooms are very comfortable and bright, have huge closets, along with secured lock boxes for valuables.
