Welcome to Country Cottage Personal Care Home! To provide the best care possible to those we service. We treat your loved ones with respect and dignity at all times and strive to support the family and resident in this time of their lives.
We offer an exceptionally clean, quiet, stress-free home. For security we provide door alarms, and secure grounds for maximum safety and freedom to move around. We are not a huge home where the resident is lost in the crowd. We are a small home with a big heart that provides a high staff to resident ratio.
Are offered to groups or one on one as necessitated by the residents abilities. Activities are designed to stimulate mentally and physically and promote interaction with others. We host family gatherings at the residence so you can spend some “picnic” time with your loved one. Weather permitting we hold these gatherings in our spacious back yard and picnic pavilion.
Our residence is managed by a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) under the guidance of each residents Primary physician. We are also serviced by podiatrist, pharmacists, therapist and nursing agencies to accommodate each residents needs. We have a dedicated trained staff to care for our residents. We encourage residents to perform simple daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing and eating, but our staff does aid in these activities as needed. Medications are provided to the residents in accordance with physician orders, by medication trained staff.
We provide three well-balanced home cooked meals daily. Snacks and beverages are available 24 hours a day. We accommodate special dietary needs. If you wish to provide special food or treat for your loved one, we encourage you to do so. Families are welcome to join us at meal time.
For the family that is caring for a loved one at home, but needs a break from the stress of the loved ones needs, consider a respite stay. Whether for a few days or a few weeks, we will care for your loved one while you take that well earned vacation or just rest and recharge. You can relax with the comfort of knowing your family member is being cared for in a home like setting.
