The Clayberg is located in a quaint residential neighborhood toward the southern edge of Cuba, Illinois. The surrounding area is predominantly rural, though the town center is easily accessible. There, seniors can find medical offices, a wellness center, churches and a senior center.
Since 1969, The Clayberg has been operating as Fulton County’s center for skilled nursing and rehabilitation, offering short-term and long-term care. Skilled nurses and trained staff are available around the clock to provide supervision and assistance with daily tasks and medical services, including IV therapy and wound care. On-site rehabilitative services include physical, occupational and speech therapies. Each resident undergoes an initial assessment to determine the level of care required, with subsequent assessments every 90 days to ensure the care plan remains sufficient. The community also offers respite services and can coordinate hospice care.
