Asbury of Kankakee is a part of the State of Illinois Supportive Living Program. This program is designed to promote the independence, dignity, respect and well-being of residents in a cost-effective manner. For your convenience and the convenience of our community’s seniors our campus partners with multiple local physicians and Riverside and Presence St. Mary’s Hospital to meet all of the Kankakee area senior’s healthcare needs.
Partnering with Home Health Services to provide our homebound residents skilled physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, skilled nursing, and wound care.

Asbury Kankakee is now home to a MEMORY CARE NEIGHBORHOOD certified by the Illinois Department of Health & Family Services Supportive Living Program.
Our secured memory care program combines the best of Asbury Kankakee Senior Living with specialized programs, layouts, and safety measures to maximize dignity, comfort, and independence so our memory care residents can live full lives.
Our EXPERT TRAINED NURSES are sensitive to the specific health needs of those residents affected by memory loss. Ongoing training allows our staff to deliver individualized person-centered care with the most caring, compassionate approach.
Our Memory Care team utilizes our home-style kitchens, dining, living rooms, and lounges to create pleasant and structured days, allowing our residents to stay involved with many daily activities such as setting the table and doing laundry. This helps our residents maintain high levels of physical function and independence.
Our Memory Care team is also trained in techniques and a program that engages residents with targeted games, events, and activities designed to be fun as well as helpful in maintaining the highest level of cognitive function for our residents.
