Angels Care AFH has private and semi-private rooms. The rooms are furnished or unfurnished of your own choice. We are a DSHS State Licensed and ADA approved Adult Family Home. Our home is bright and cheery.
Each room is equipped with smoke alarm, phone and cable TV. The home has natural lighting, wide hallways and door alarms. A large patio beautifully landscaped provides outdoor enjoyment and summer barbeques for residents and their guests.
Our facility has been designed and built with the comfort and safety for seniors foremost in mind. Adult Family Homes (AFH) are residential homes licensed by the State of Washington to care for up to 6 residents. They provide room, board, laundry, housekeeping, and necessary supervision, assistance with activities of daily living, personal care and nursing services, if necessary.
Families that own and operate Adult Family Homes are families that have opened their homes to those in need. Such a person may be the frail elderly, senior adults, or any other person with mental health needs who requires assistance.
Each and every Adult Family Home is unique in its own way, by the type of residents that it serves and the type of care that is offered. The Department of Social and Health Services inspects Adult Family Homes yearly, so there is strict compliance to regulations.
The requirements on the owners, providers and caregivers includes at a minimum, Home Care Aide, Nurse Delegation, Specialty Training in Dementia and Mental Health, CPR and First Aid Training, and 12 hours of Continuing Education each year.

Costs are based on the specialized needs and level of care (determined by the initial assessment of the resident) and can be scaled up or down during the first 30 days of residency.
