Lead by our Director who has 43 of memory care experience, our highly trained staff is dedicated to treating residents like family, and improving their quality of life while beginning this new chapter. Especially for individuals with memory needs, creating a familiar atmosphere and routines is important to establish a sense of stability. In addition to this, our staff plans activities and recreation to stimulate the mind and allow for social interaction as part of their assisted living curriculum.
Kingwood Memory & Assisted Living provides a unique and personalized approach to memory care services. The facility is located in a quiet, residential area, and is designed for 16 beds offering both single and double accommodations. Accommodations are accessible and customizable according to tastes and needs. A security system for the facility is also in place for those with dementia or an Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis.
Our trained, compassionate staff is ready to help you or your loved ones with activities of daily living along with memory care assistance. Services can include, but are not limited to: providing meals, bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, medication service, activities, recreation, and housekeeping. Our experienced staff is prepared to assist those with memory care issues. In addition, staff work to facilitate activities and routines in order to encourage and atmosphere of familiarity. Also, they plan social and recreational activities to foster stimulation of the mind and interactions between residents.
A needs assessment will be conducted prior to each resident’s admission to Kingwood Memory & Assisted Living in order to best evaluate what level of care is most appropriate for each resident. Different packages and a la carte services are available and can be discussed during a scheduled tour or needs assessment.
