Welcome to Hawthorne Inn! The unique four “house” design of the Hawthorne Inn of Winter Haven fosters a homelike atmosphere, promoting social growth and self sufficiency whenever possible.
Each “house” provides a different level of service, allowing residents to be surrounded by those with their same abilities. Professional evaluations are performed prior to each resident's move-in to permit the best possible fit. Movement between houses is done based on routine care planning with family input . And allows a continuance of appropriate stimulation according to the resident's abilities, as their stay progresses. Our doors are locked just as yours at home, to promote safety and a sense of security.
Residents may have the privacy of their own room and bathroom, or choose to share it with a roommate. Every “house” has its own living and dining rooms and kitchenette to better accommodate each resident's needs. Additionally, everyone freely as access to courtyards and screen lanais. Barber and beauty shop services are on-sire and scheduled according to each resident's desire.
