Assisted Living in Arlington, Texas

Arlington is a vibrant city in the Dallas metro region of Texas with exciting annual events, a large library system and outstanding restaurants. It’s home to nearly 400,000 residents, about one in 10 of whom are seniors. On a cost-of-living index based on the national cost of living, the city scores 100.6, indicating that living expenses are consistent with costs in other U.S. cities. However, Texas doesn’t have an income tax, which may help you put more money toward long-term care expenses.

Assisted living is for older adults who are largely independent but need help with daily activities, such as housekeeping, meal preparation and some personal care activities. These facilities foster a low-maintenance lifestyle by providing daily meals, recreational activities, housekeeping and general maintenance. On average, assisted living residents in Arlington pay $4,195 per month for services, making it a relatively budget-friendly option if you’re seeking affordable care.

In this guide, we provide more information on assisted living in Arlington, as well as financial assistance options and ways to pay for services. The guide also lists free resources in Arlington and an overview of the rules assisted living facilities follow.
