Our Fireside Library and computer room is well stocked with books, movies and magazines, and is a great place to host your bridge or pinochle group or check your Facebook page.

The Stafford Store is a convenient place to pick up items that you may run out of in between our weekly shopping excursions such as tissue, personal care items, cards and gifts…not to mention our own Suite Java Espresso stand.

Stafford’s own Salon is available for your beauty and barber needs.

Entertain friends and family in our mountain resort style lobby. It’s a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.

Stafford’s second floor Dining Room offers a splendid view of Mt. Rainier to enjoy along with our scrumptious menu items. A private dining room is also available for your family dinner or to show off your new home to a luncheon group of friends.

Sumner is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. Residents often enjoy sitting on the front porch in one of our split log rockers with a glass of lemonade surveying the neighborhood goings on. Our patio with gazebo and serenity garden affords a quiet space to relax and take in the fresh air. The residential neighborhood is a great area to take a stroll with many beautiful homes and gardens. The city of Sumner’s Senior Center is located just across the street.

Customized to meet your healthcare needs

Our full time Wellness Director will work with you and your healthcare provider to develop a plan tailored to meet any personal care needs you may have. Trained caregivers provide assistance with some of those tasks that can become difficult to manage on your own such as medication management, assistance with showers as well as dressing, grooming, and other areas. The beauty of Care Plus is you only pay for services you receive.

For many of our residents, it’s the best part of the day—and the biggest part of the evening’s conversation!

We’re famous for our delicious homemade soups, choice of entrees and fabulous desserts. But we also offer choices appropriate for diabetics and those that need to watch their salt intake.
