Share Your Care – Bear Canyon is tucked inside a senior center in the northeastern section of Albuquerque, NM. It’s conveniently located near numerous stores and restaurants, including the Sierra Vista shopping center, which makes it easy for seniors and their families to run personal errands and enjoy recreational outings in the surrounding area.
As a non-profit adult day care center, Share Your Care – Bear Canyon is committed to creating a safe, friendly space for seniors to stay when their primary caregivers are at work or taking care of other responsibilities. A nutritionist helps design wholesome, delicious meals based on seniors’ requests. Skill building activities and therapy programs are available to enhance and maintain the overall health and wellness of participants, including programs designed to meet the needs of those with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The site coordinator at Share Your Care – Bear Canyon arranges free transportation services in a wheelchair-accessible van for seniors. A wide variety of activities are scheduled each day, which include engaging arts and crafts, exercise groups, live music performances and sports, and staff members tailor offerings to match participants’ individual abilities and skills. Off-site outings are regularly organized by the management, and seniors can participate in community volunteer programs.
