Abba Care Assisted Living

Abba Care Assisted Living is a small, resident-to-care ratio assisted living facility located in the metroplex. The idea was conceived by Victoria Villapando, a home health nurse who found that large facilities didn’t have the resources to provide quality care and attention to their residents. Instead of closed cafeterias, an open kitchen can be used for meals. Instead of long hallways that were difficult to walk, short distance hallways were built. Each resident has their own private laundry room and bathroom. Careplan coordination ensures that each resident receives a different schedule based on their needs and preferences. Community interaction is encouraged through events and activities designed to build relationships between residents with the surrounding Garland community.
