Beth Sholom Village includes two adjacent facilities in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Terrace Assisted Living cares for active, independent seniors. Berger-Goldrich Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center houses patients with higher-level care needs, including the Sholom Unit for advanced dementia and Alzheimer���s. Shopping, hobby specialists and dining are available for active residents. The central location gives quick access to US-13 and many medical providers.
Residents at The Terrace can be assisted around the clock as needed by a team of licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants. Three kosher meals are served daily and transportation services are available. Berger-Goldrich is equipped for long-term care, and the secure Sholom Unit has staff trained to care for individuals with special needs. The Terrace has 70 apartments and a variety of floor plans. It offers a library with comfortable chairs, high-speed Internet and computers with printers. The Club Room is open 24 hours. There are activities, such as ceramics and fine arts, and the facility features resident-made art. Berger-Goldrich has both private and semi-private rooms, and offers activities including movies, Bingo and salon services that are adjusted to the abilities of each resident. Beth Sholom holds daily Jewish religious services and weekly non-denominational Christian services.
