Welcome to Southington Care Center! Southington Care Center is a 130-bed facility specializing in short-term inpatient rehabilitation and rehab nursing care, long-term care and outpatient rehab services. Outpatient therapy specialty programs include Speech Therapy, Low Vision Therapy, Lymphedema Management, Orthopedic, Neurologic, Balance and Aquatics and Pre-surgical Therapeutic Exercises (Pre-hab). Wellness programs such as Yoga, Good Life Fitness and T’ai Chi are offered to inpatients as well as to the community.
Southington Care Center also offers a specialized program for dementia and memory-impaired residents. Staff is specially trained to provide services that enhance quality of life while promoting maximum well-being.
Southington Care Center features a state-of-the-art 8,300 square foot rehabilitation pavilion complete with aqua-therapy and an occupational therapy suite that replicates the home setting. This facility will allow patients to receive rehab services in an environment that has been specially designed to meet the needs of an older population. Southington Care Center is JCAHO accredited. It is approved for Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans.
