America is getting grayer than ever, with the 50-and-over population projected to increase about 20% by 2030 to 132 million strong. This means big changes across the nation.

A realtor.com(r) analysis of Nielsen Demographics data predicts the Top 10 metropolitan markets that will see the largest percentage growth in residents aged 55 and over in the next five years. They include cities known for their youth culture, such as Austin, TX, and Raleigh, NC.

“The youngest baby boomer turns 55 in 2019, so the entire generation will be represented in these numbers,” said realtor.com(r) Chief Economist Jonathan Smoke.

Check out some great homes in these cities–they could be where your future lies. Two of the cities on our list are developing so rapidly, we didn’t find any homes with great pictures. We’re sure that will change over the course of the next five years.
