At the center, members participate in a wide range of recreational and educational activities, including arts and crafts shows, holiday parties, health and wellness screenings and vaccine clinics. The center also hosts book clubs and discussion groups, big band dances, tennis, painting classes and picnics.  
Passaic County Department of Senior Services (973) 569-4060 The local Area Agency on Aging receives federal funds to administer programs that promote seniors’ wellness and quality of life. Through the agency, seniors connect with Senior Health Insurance Assistance Program counselors who help them understand Medicare and Medicaid benefits and research long-term care insurance, which may help them identify options for covering assisted living services. Additionally, the agency provides home-delivered and congregate meals, transportation services and a long-term care ombudsman program.  
Veterans Service Office (201) 996-8009 The nearest Veterans Administration Veterans Service Office is situated 16 miles away in Hackensack. At this location, veterans meet with certified officers who help them identify and apply for programs that can help cover assisted living services, including the Aid and Attendance benefit and VA pension benefits.
