 A division of the Capital Area Council of Governments, the Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area (AAACAP) provides services to support the health, safety and well-being of seniors and their caregivers. The nonprofit serves 10 counties across central Texas, including Williamson County, by offering an access and assistance program, benefits counseling, ombudsman services, care coordination and caregiver support. It also provides general information, referrals and assistance. The AAACAP operates as the region’s Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) where seniors can go to be connected with resources that suit their needs.

AGE of Central Texas is a regional nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources and programs for seniors and family caregivers. Older adults have access to direct programs and assistance, including adult day care, technology classes, memory support, fall prevention classes and a health equipment lending program.
