Deltona Assisted Living Financial Assistance

People who are eligible for Florida Medicaid and require long-term care are enrolled in the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care – Long-Term Care (SMMC-LTC) program. The program doesn’t pay for room and board in an assisted living facility, but it does cover the cost of provided services, including housekeeping, medication assistance and help with activities of daily living.

Votran Gold Service(386) 756-7496Votran’s Gold Service provides transportation services to people who can’t drive themselves or use the company’s fixed-route buses. This door-to-door service operates Monday through Saturday throughout Volusia County, and the buses used have ADA-compliant assisting devices for ease of boarding, including wheelchair lifts and lowered stairs. There’s a small charge for each trip.
