At Windemere Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, residents can receive short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing and hospice care. Through exercise, adaptive equipment, cognitive training and social engagement, the therapy staff helps seniors maintain physical and mental skills. Through partnerships with local organizations, volunteers and residents meet frequently for social clubs. Neighbors can join the garden club to freshen up their community with donations from local florists. In the recreation room and lounge, seniors gather to discuss history, current events and hobbies. Residents of all musical abilities can join the Wind Song Chorus or Wind Chime Choir to sing and play chimes in local or community concerts.
