Whispering Pines has brand new spacious 1 and 2 bedroom apartments for those 55 years old and better. We have secure entryways, with intercom systems, mini blinds, gas heat, central air, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and emergency pull alarms in each apartment. Walk - in showers are available in select units. Each building has it's own elevator and laundry facilities. We welcome small pets. Our community also has on - site friendly management and 24 - hour emergency maintenance service.

Location

Located in Mishawaka, just off of Hickory & Corby. Our cozy community is set within a quiet, wooded environment, where the grounds are well maintained year - round. Although it feels as if you are in the country, major shopping areas, banking and public transportation are just beyond the boundaries of Whispering Pines.

At Whispering Pines, a modest income doesn't keep older adults from enjoying a comfortable home, a friendly neighborhood and an active lifestyle. In fact, Whispering Pines was developed specifically to meet the needs of seniors with modest incomes.

Activities

We offer a variety of activities at Whispering Pines such as BINGO, Coffee Hour and Community Potlucks to help encourage our residents to develop new friendships and to keep them active in the community. We have a grocery store shuttle that comes on a bi - weekly basis and takes our residents to the area Martin's Supermarket (courtesy of Martins and Transportation). Our community room is also available for the residents to use for their own dinners or parties at no extra charge.
