At Timberhill Villa, we recognize that many factors are considered in the selection of a retirement community. Facilities, services, dining, staff all play an important role – but now that you can choose what to do on a daily basis, shouldn't you have an outstanding selection of available activities?
One of our goals at the Villa is to provide a wide variety of activities for our residents. Once you reach the open mezzanine, you will immediately notice the dance floor, the piano, and the game tables. Ongoing activities include bingo, dominos, cards, jigsaw puzzles and board games. Tables are set up at all times in anticipation of an impromptu game of checkers. We also provide exercise classes three times a week to keep you fit. And, of course, there is an entertainment center with television and
DVD
for your use. Outside, you will find the walking trails, the petting zoo, shuffleboard court and gardening areas.
And, if that isn't enough to keep your social calendar filled, the Villa provides transportation for events in San Antonio. You'll enjoy dining out, trips to the ball park, theater productions and seasonal events, plus "mystery rides".
For those of you who love reading, step into our beautiful library and be prepared to stay awhile. The shelves are filled with books for every reader and the coziness of the library is a great spot to snuggle up with a good book – on any day.

About Us
Originally built in 1981, Timberhill Villa was designed after the traditional Mediterranean villas. The saltillo tile entry and dark woods in the reception area are reminiscent of the heritage/history of early Texas. A unique blend of antiques, paintings, folk art, quilts and whimsical treasures are found on each floor and add to the warmth of the surroundings.
Timberhill Villa has been continuously owned and operated by the Pierce Family Partnership since 1981. Because the Villa is locally managed, you will find members of the Pierce family on site to assist you. Their years of experience and dedication to the retirement community are reflected in every aspect of Villa life.
