variety of needs, all the while maintaining residents' independence, privacy and
freedom of choice.
Providing
Exceptional Assisted Living and Memory Care is more than just a slogan. Licensed
and monitored by the Arizona Department of Health Services, The Woodmark has
remained deficiency free since opening in October, 2000. Only caregivers
certified for the highest level of Assisted Living (Directed Care) are employed
by The Woodmark at Sun City. Licensed caregivers are on site 24 hours a day / 7
days a week and nurse 7 days a week.

Nearly six acres of beautifully
landscaped grounds frame the three-story Assisted Living residence. Amenities
include an elegant dining room, intimate private dining room, family room/media
center, 24-hour beverage and snack bar, well-stocked library, fitness center,
computer center, activity center, enclosed courtyard and more. Individualized
assisted living services are provided in the comfort of the resident's studio,
one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. We offer a full range of assisted
living services, priced on an a la carte basis according to the resident's needs
and desires.
Independent
Living Option
Residents can move into The Woodmark
as independent residents if their doctors so specifies. Since all apartments are
licensed for Assisted Living, there is no need to change apartments or
residences when the need for services arises.
The Monarch
Memory Assistance
The newest addition to the Woodmark
programs provides a sense of self-worth and enhances the strengths of
individuals with early-stage dementia. The Monarch Memory Assistance Residence
is self-contained and secured with a key-pad entry system. The 13 spacious
apartments can accommodate couples, as well as individuals.
The Memory
Care S.P.A.
This one-story residence is
specially designed to be warm, calm, predictable, and secure. Twenty-eight
private and companion suites provide comfortable private areas. The many common
areas, including an aviary and three outdoor courtyards, enhance the
activity-based program.
Temporary/Respite Stays
For recuperation, rehabilitation, or
peace of mind for a family caregiver, furnished accommodations are provided on a
space-available basis in all Woodmark areas. We can even assist with
transportation from a hospital or care center if necessary.
