We start by carefully selecting qualified development and construction teams that include a host of professionals-from architects to government program administrators to seasoned housing managers. With detailed design requirements in hand, our architects plan comfortable, economical, attractive buildings, specifically designed for geographic locations, budget requirements, and, most of all, resident needs. Each and every NCR community is service-enriched and uniquely created to enhance meaningful living and to ensure comfort, affordability, and confidence. Linking residents to available resources in their own communities allows seniors to age-in-place and enhances quality of life.
Senior and Accessible Housing - Senior Housing
NCR's independent living communities for seniors are either Section 202 (government subsidized assisted), Section 236 (government subsidized assisted), or tax-credit properties. The Section 202 and 236 properties offer governmental rental assistance through HUD for residents who meet financial eligibility requirements. Senior/Handicap Housing
These communities provide access and accommodations for seniors and/or handicapped individuals. At Section 202 and 236 properties, the head of the household or his/her spouse must be 55 or over. Ten percent of the apartments are designed to be handicapped-accessible and are reserved for people of any age (over 18) who require the accessibility features of the apartment. At senior/handicap tax-credit properties, residents must be at least 55 or require an accessible apartment. Financial eligibility requirements must be met at all of the above communities.
