The Memory Support Neighborhood at The Bayview, home to just 22 residents, is a secure intimate community with personal care services and behavioral programming tailored for each individual. Residents stay connected-socially, physically and intellectually-through our dynamic Activities Program.
Our staff is fully trained in memory loss care, which focuses on positive reaction, reinforcement and redirection to provide a calming influence, alleviate stress and enhance positive emotions. Our caregivers are on hand 24 hours a day to provide individualized personal care assistance. Our high staff-to-resident ratio ensures that each resident's needs are met promptly with patience and compassion.
Our Therapeutic Activities Program
Our strong focus on offering a varied and stimulating Activities Program is based on the latest research. Staying engaged in meaningful and pleasurable activities has been shown to help reduce the stress associated with memory loss and actually slow the progression of dementia.
