Sutton Homes are much more than just Assisted Living Facilities. When a loved one has Alzheimer's Disease or dementia, we understand from personal experience how difficult it can be to place him or her in a nursing home or use expensive in-home care. Sutton Homes offers a warm, family-oriented alternative to provide your loved one with an actual residential home in a 24 hour secured setting.
Each of our seven homes is an elegant ranch-style home located in Orange, Seminole and Lake County's finer residential neighborhoods. Our homes accommodate only 5 residents with trained and experienced Care Specialists 24 hours a day. Each home also has a secured front door and a lovely landscaped, fenced backyard. This allows our residents the freedom and security of being outdoors.
The home-cooked meals we provide are approved by a licensed dietitian and served in a family-style setting. Menus for special needs are also available.
Daily activities are planned by our Activities Coordinator to meet the needs of both the group and the individual. Outings such as picnics, barbecues, and visits to our homes fulfill the need for social involvement. Scheduled musicians are invited to our homes to provide entertainment. Our residents are also encouraged to participate in meal preparation, baking, kitchen and other household tasks.
