Nestled in the small town of Plymouth, MI, St. David's may be a small complex in size but a large complex in activities. The monthly activities calendar is always full. Funds collected by the members activities are spent on holiday dinners for the members. They are always a catered affair! One Saturday morning each month the members gather in the Club House for the traditional pancake breakfast served by the activities committee.
The building van is always on the go taking members shopping, dining, gambling, and to seasonal events like cider and donuts at a near by mill.
Almost every night there is a card game or bingo game in the Club House and on Monday anyone can join in the Brown bag luncheon. The Club House has a wonderful screened in porch complete with new tables and carpet . There is an outdoor barbecue for some delicious ribs and potato salad made by the members themselves.
If you are a gardener just look back at the picture of the building where each member adds his or her own color to the landscape. If you plan to just sit in your apartment then St. David's Senior Co – op may not be for you, but if you want to continue the lifestyle of many active seniors these days then St. David's should be you new home for the New Year!
