Prospect Park’s location at the Grand Army Plaza in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn is one of our most popular features. As our name suggests, we are located right next to Prospect Park, the 585-acre urban oasis composed of rolling meadows, shaded hillsides, a complex water system, and Brooklyn’s only forest.
Prospect Park Residence offers a full spectrum of activities and diverse programs, including scheduled transportation to doctor appointments, scenic drives, weekly day trips and local errands. Three kosher meals are prepared daily and served in our elegant dining room. Residents can choose from several meal options, with homemade soup, salad, and desserts served by our friendly wait staff. We offer a gracious environment with many beautiful common areas for our residents to enjoy. Friends can socialize in our activity rooms and rooftop garden or gather together to watch a movie. Residents will enjoy taking exercise classes and staying fit in the exercise room. Essentia - A Program For The Memory Impaired - We provide Memory-Impaired residents with a lifestyle that has all the comfort, safety and convenience of home while offering the support and assistance they require. Our specially trained staff members provide each memory-impaired resident with individual, daily therapeutic programming that makes the most of current skills and abilities. The goal of our program is to help residents lead a meaningful and dignified life.
Prospect Park Residence has an on-site licensed Home Care Agency to meet the needs of our residents. A Registered Nurse oversees the day-to-day operation of this agency. We offer assistance with an array of medical needs as well as a variety of the activities of daily living. All of our services are tailored to each resident’s individual needs.
We also offer Short-Term Stays as well as Community Home Care.
Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy are also available on site
