Primrose specializes in Memory Care: from our home-made food from the
Alzheimer’s Cook book to the color schemes that we have chosen to activities
that stimulate-everything we do has been studied and designed specifically for
someone dealing with memory loss.
Our
community is situated on 3.5 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. We are a
secure, gated community offering residential, respite and day club services for
people with Alzheimer’s disease and related forms of memory loss. Within our
gated community our residents can freely access the outdoor courtyard, without
the potential of wandering off. The court yard consists of colorful gardens and
trees, covered walkways, activity areas, a tranquil fountain and seating for
residents and visitors to enjoy.
The community is composed of four residential
cottage-style houses with a maximum of 18 residents in each; this gives the feel
of a neighborhood-safe and familiar. The cottage-style gives a sense of home;
each consists of an entry way, living room, two sitting areas, a kitchen,
dinning room and activity area. Our Administration building houses a Day Club
along with staff offices, a resource library, conference room, and beauty
salon. Our Family Services Director offers Monthly Support Groups
as well as specialized Exercise and Educational Classes.
Primrose Day Club is a great alternative for families who are taking care of
their loved one at home. Caregivers can get a much needed break and feel secure
in knowing there loved one is in a safe environment that provides them with a
sense of freedom. Our gated three acre campus allows leisure walks and outdoor
enjoyment with new friends.
A Day at the
Club also gives the resident a sense of self worth, socialization, stimulation,
laughter, exercise, games and something to look forward to.
Taking care to
recognize any special diet and medication needs, our Day Club clients enjoy
delicious meals provided by our talented kitchen staff, and medication is passed
by a staff member whom is specially trained.
