Paradise Park Assisted Living and Memory Care provides a
thoughtful combination of architecture and design with personalized care and
services to each individual. The unique layout of Paradise Park was carefully
considered to resemble a single-family home similar to that in which most
residents have lived nearly all of their lives.
Celebrating Who You Are
By offering both assisted living as well as
memory care programming, Paradise Park can meet the many different care needs of
the aging adult. By creating a personalized plan of care, we schedule the
activities of daily living around the time of day each resident is most
accustomed and has done all his or her life. In addition, our life enrichment
programming is customized to meet the interests and hobbies of our residents
through understanding who each person is and what activities they enjoy.

Our Memory Care Program
Paradise Park Assisted Living and
Memory Care provides a safe and familiar environment by redirecting and engaging
our residents in stimulating activities to create moments of joy thorough out
each day.
A Compassionate and Caring Team
Our compassionate and caring team
has been specially trained in interacting with aging adults diagnosed with
various stages of memory loss. Our focus is to create opportunities to engage
and redirect residents to reduce behavioral challenges such as agitation,
depression and wandering.
By establishing a daily routine with
consistent activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating and
activities familiar to the resident such as making the bed, folding laundry or
baking bread, it creates an environment for the resident to feel safe, secure
and engaged.
Learning about our residents in
earlier days or relate to their past occupation or hobbies enables our
compassionate and caring team to celebrate individuality, encourage independence
and support physical and mental well-being.
Life Enrichment Stations
Life enrichment stations involve
residents in familiar daily routines such as gardening, office work, household
chores or accessorizing at a dressing table. These stations create a sense of
purpose for residents through relevant activities they are familiar with from
their earlier days.
Snoezelen Room
The Snoezelen room Is a
multi-sensory environment that offers aromatherapy, peaceful sounds, tactile and
textured surfaces and visual displays including fiber optic lights and nature
Images to create an intervention to Improve mood and ease anxiety and agitation.
"Snoezelen" originates from the
Dutch words "explore" and "doze".
