Overlake Terrace's Assisted Living community, most of your basic needs are included
in our basic rate. This includes all meals, laundry, housekeeping, activities,
Emergency response System, 24-hour staffing and scheduled transportation to
services and amenities; see the page headlined "Making Life the Best it

Overlake Terrace embraces
the concept of "Aging in Place". What that means is that as care needs
change, whether they increase or decrease, we can respond and meet those needs
with a variety of care plans. Our Nursing team assesses each person, be it permanent
resident or Respite/Day Care. We then develop care/service plans tailored to
each individual. These plans are reviewed quarterly or sooner and adjusted as
needed. We also provide regular care conferences with families. Communication
is a key.
These Enhanced Assisted Living care services include medication help, full transfer
assistance, complete incontinence care and help from an additional $ 125 a month
to $ 2500 a month, depending on What's needed. For a complete list of care available

Additional Services
above and beyond Assisted Living Basic Services
For those who require additional
care, we offer a variety of enhanced assistance to meet changing needs. Individual
care plans are determined by comprehensive assessments done by our health care
professionals.
Initial care plans will typically
be structured so we are playing it extra safe. We are just getting to know our
new resident and they may be coming to us from the hospital or skilled nursing
facility. The move itself is a factor and there is always a period of adjustments,
so we want to factor all that in. The initial care plan is our first, educated
snapshot. It is an organic, fluid process where we are able to add and remove
different care services as needed and as we all get to know each other. We want
to do all we can to ensure a successful transition.
Care conference and quarterly
assessments help us meet the special needs of each resident. It's all part of
our dedicated mission to help our honored elders 'Age in Place'.

Community Fee
There is a one-time charge
of $2000 required of all permanent residents when they move-in, this will also
act as a deposit to hold your apartment for up to a week. This non-refundable
fee covers, among other things, our initial and follow up assessments, administrative
documentation, personalized service plan and apartment preparation. $100.00
of each Community Fee is donated to the Moyer Foundation and the Susan G. Komen
Breast Cancer Foundation.
