Administered by friendly and service-minded staff, Northaven Retirement Apartments provides a senior residence built on a foundation of caring and concern for the individual resident.
The Northaven community, established in 1972, is made up of 198 independent living apartments designed with comfort, convenience, and privacy in mind.
Special features include complete kitchen facilities, wall-to-wall carpeting, and roominess to allow the resident to decorate their apartment personally. An importance is placed on keeping all facilities modern and up-to-date to ensure the safety and comfort of the individual.
Designed for either singles or couples, residents may select from two basic floor plans according to their need and income.

Northaven Retirement Apartments is centrally located in the midst of the Northgate shopping and professional district. Residents enjoy easy and convenient access to a wide selection of services including Northgate Mall, entertainment, restaurants, bus transportation, library, post office, banks, medical and dental offices and a community hospital.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Income limits are set by HUD. Current adjusted income limit for single persons is $44,800 and $51,200 for couples.
Residents pay no more than 30% of their monthly adjusted income up to the current market rent. Subsidies may be available for low income residents.

Northaven provides a dinner Monday-Friday for $125. Lunch and Sunday dinner are optional.
WAITING LIST
Interested persons must come in for an application. To keep your name on the waiting list you should contact the office every 6 months. At this time, expect to wait approximately 9-12 months for a studio apartment. Couples are given a priority on bedroom apartments.
Assisted Living Rates
Northaven Assisted Living participates in the Medicaid-COPES program.
Level of care is determined through assessment process conducted by Northaven staff prior to occupancy. Second person monthly rates start at $950 per month.
