residents are those who do not need skilled nursing care, but may need
assistance with some aspects of daily life. This can include personal care
such as dressing and grooming, monitoring of health, safety, and overall
well-being, coordination of outside health care providers, assistance with
medication, companionship, and more.
Our assisted

Alzheimer's/Memory Care
At Morningview at
Irving Park in Greensboro, our unique approach to caring for residents with
Alzheimer’s or memory loss is called Bridge to Rediscovery.
This award-winning
program, based on the Montessori approach to learning, includes helping each
person to continue engaging in the world around them, and helping them to
rediscovery skills and interests, and the joy in everyday life.
In addition, we
also offer another specialized therapy for those with Alzheimer's or other forms
of dementia. Our newly-remodeled memory care unit features a state-of-the-
art
Snoezelen room, which provides controlled multisensory stimulation for people
with dementia, exposing them to a soothing, stimulating and calming environment,
complete with memory stimulation.
Each staff member
at Morningview of Greensboro -- from the nurse’s staff to the dining staff --
receives intensive training specifically in Alzheimer’s care, so you can be
assured that your loved one is receiving expert care and attention.
Short-term Stays
Morningview at
Greensboro also offers short-term stays for seniors who need care after a
hospital stay, or when family members travel out of town or simply need a short
respite break from the stresses of care giving.

from a week to months. Short-term guests enjoy housekeeping services, dining,
community activities, transportation and other amenities, as well as
