As a personal care home, Mattie H. Marshall Center provides specialized dementia care in state-of-the-art accommodations. From the physical design of the interior and exterior spaces to the in-home assessment performed prior to admission, the Mattie H. Marshall Center differs from other dementia-care providers. With dementia-specific programs and quality care provided by caring staff, each individual receives the specialized attention they deserve. As Alzheimer's progresses, we offer support in the form of education and pastoral counseling through our trained staff and family support groups. As resident needs increase, families experience the peace of mind knowing it is not necessary to move to another community. Skilled Nursing
Magnolia Manor's Skilled Nursing provides the care and attention needed when Independent or Assisted Living are no longer feasible. This Medicare/Medicaid provider has a fully-equipped Rehabilitation Department, which provides both in-patient and out-patient care. Experienced staff include a speech therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist as well as restorative nurses. Additionally, a Social Services coordinator is on staff to assist with filing insurance claims and routine paperwork. A full schedule of events and activities is designed to engage residents in socializing. For individuals with dementia care needs, our Alzheimer's wing provides a secure, loving environment, which preserves the dignity of our residents and fulfills their physical, social and spiritual needs.
